Community Nursery Schools fall under our Education Programme. It is a response to the absence of Early Childhood Education programmes in rural areas. A problem that feeds into poor performance of rural children in the most highly competitive formal education in Uganda. Up-to-date there are 3 such efforts initiated by Communities and support-ed by FADO-T.

This project started in 2007 and up-date progress has been encouraging as the first pupils graduated and most of them were admitted into very good Primary Schools, which normally have been inaccessible for these rural children. Challenges include teaching resources, buildings and furniture.
