Agricultural projects are aimed at income generation, food security and environmental resuscitation and conservation.
Communities are facilitated with high yielding seeds and planting materials and trained in new and improved methods of production. Facilitation and supervision is also given for raising nurseries for vegetable and tree seedlings. Supervision is given for planting of both trees and vegetables activities as well as weeding and looking after the plants. The picture opposite shows farmers being supervised in staking tomato plants by FADO-T field staff.
Currently Agricultural activities cover three communities with 480 families.
Challenges include funding for inputs, staff facilitation and transport to markets.
